I'm Emily!
A few things about me - For starters, I absolutely adore my husband, my family, and my three cats. Even though I do I love traveling, there really is no place like home for me!
I LOVE a good cup of coffee. I start every day with an Americano and if I'm not working in my home office, you can probably find me at a local Raleigh coffee shop.

I'm also a huge book lover! Even though I mostly opt for audiobooks while I'm editing or on long drives, one of my favorite ways to spend a day off is curled up on my couch with a book.​​

My faith in Jesus is the foundation of my life. I don't take many Sunday weddings in an effort to prioritize serving in my local church as much as I can. I believe every person is created in the image of God and is to be valued and loved. Each connection I'm blessed to make in this career reminds me how intentionally God orders my path and for that I am so grateful!
My Journey
I feel like I’ve always been a creative at heart—even as a little kid, I found so much joy in my imagination and in creating things. Growing up, I was involved in theater productions, vocal performances, and my church’s creative ministry. It was actually during high school at church that I first picked up a camera. At the time, I had no idea how much that spark of interest in visual storytelling would come to shape my life.​ After spending about six years working in the creative ministry at my church, I began craving a new way to express myself creatively in my personal life. So I picked up a camera again! What began as hobby I was so excited to share with others blossomed into a career beyond anything I could have imagined.

My mission at Emily Fry Photography is to capture heartfelt moments for couples that desire an authentic and memorable wedding day by delivering timeless images, with an artistic and cinematic flair. I am dedicated to quality in experience as well as product and am guided by my values of integrity, creativity, and generosity. It's the honor of my life to be trusted with documenting your most precious moments!

On wedding days, it's incredibly important to me that my couples feel fully supported so that they are able to be fully present. I aim to help everything flow seamlessly with a hands-on yet relaxed approach. Bringing a calming and encouraging presence, I love giving posing guidance while also aiming for authenticity. My goal is to bring warmth, energy, and joy to every part of your special day.

Beyond wedding day, my couples can expect to receive sneak peeks soon after their wedding and have easy access to me as I curate their final galleries. From our first conversation to the moment you receive your final images, I want to ensure you feel supported and cared for.

Where are you based?
I'm based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Do you have travel fees?
I love any opportunity I get to capture a wedding or session outside of the Raleigh area! My packages vary based on your specific location and are inclusive of additional costs to cover flight, transportation, and accommodations.
Do you shoot film?
I primarily shoot digital images, however I do offer film as well! It's included in some of my collections or available as an add on.
How long have you been photographing weddings?
I started my business in 2021 and photographed my first wedding in 2022.
What is your turnaround time for galleries?
You can expect to receive a sneak peek with 48 hours of your wedding or session. Final galleries are delivered within 5-8 weeks for weddings and 2 weeks for sessions.
I’m a wedding planner who had the honor of teaming up with Emily for a wedding this past November, and holy moly were the photos more than we ever could’ve dreamed of. Not only did she capture the couple magically, but she was such a fun spirit to have around and truly such a go-with-the-flow type of gal.
